If You Show Me Yours, I'll Show You Mine

I'm feeling really vulnerable. I'm throwing a spontaneous party here, and I'm afraid that either no one is gonna show or that when they get here, they will think it's totally lame and just duck out before I notice they stopped by. I promise that things aren't always this, yaawwwnnn, b-o-r-i-n-g around here--allow me to steer you towards some good stuff in the November archives. That's right, November. Seems making the transition from hot single mama to nearly married mama hasn't been very exciting for anyone but moi. In hopeful anticipation of having some new visitors pop in over the weekend, at the invite of Michele, just wanted to say hi! and ask that you please leave an email addy and a URL to your site so that I can be sure to bring some lovin your way.

Oh my, what a lovely place you have here lulu. Michele also sent me...oh, yes, I do whatever I tell myself to do. Make certain you stop by and play the meet n' greet several more times (as many as you wish) so that others get to visit your lovely site.

I think almost married is oh-so-very-exciting, so pay no heed to those who think otherwise.

Hope you have a glorious weekend. Hugs.

I think your party is hoppin'! I didn't even have to come here but I did because you said that you were going to be at my blog and wanted to know if there was any food there. As I'm sure you have already found food...just a lot of babbling! BTW, I'm here via Michele...but, not really. lol

Hey Lu! I just had to respond to your comment that you left at my blogsite. I CANNOT believe the similarities that we share. VERY WEIRD! Drop me an email at and we can chat. I'd love to know which side of the river you live on 30 minutes outside of St. Louis. Our daughter's names are the same..we like the same movies...share the same template...both have two cats...that is rather strange but VERY cool!

You know what is so funny? I saw that you replied to one of Michele's questions and surfed on over to check you out. It wasn't until I got her that I found out you were a Michele sent me site!

So even though she didn't send me I came here by way of her. oooooo ;)

Thank you so much for stopping by earlier during the meet & greet! I hope you'll come back soon if you liked my blog. It's always nice to meet other cool moms. I would LOVE being a librarian!

I've never had a sexy librarian. I've had nice librarians, helpful librarians, generous librarians, and mean librarians...but none of them ever made me think of what *might* be possible in the isolated areas of the library.

None ever left me with the feeling that there was more to the library then finding the one copy of the Joy of Sex or naughty words in the dictionary.

Oh, to have a librarian that would make me want to watch her put books back on the top would be enough to turn me into a volunteer!

Cara, I will email you!

Bob, you made me smile. My hope is to be a children's librarian and so I am anticipating lots of suspicion and head scratching "hmmms..." from the wives of all the handsome daddies who exhibit a sudden and extreme enthusiasm at accompanying their tots to the weekly story time sessions.

Thanks to everybody who stopped by! I had a blast meeting you all and checking out your sites. Oh, and special thanks to my old pals who dropped by and showed me some lovin.
